Product Description
Narrow Water Castle, County Down was drawn in the spring of 2004. The site has housed a keep since 1212 and the current castle was constructed in 1570. Built at the narrowest point of Newry river which leads into Carlingford Lough on the south County Down coast, the Castle was one of many that helped protect the east coast of Ireland though-out the centuries. Today it stands as a fine architectural example of such coastal defence castles that punctuate the Irish coastline. Aside from its touristic attributes it is used primarily for weddings and private parties and photo shoots.
Dimensions 42cmx32cm
