Mount Errigal, County Donegal, was drawn in early January 2004 and as the centrepiece of Gweedore, Donegal, stands confidently at 752 metres tall. Facing the Atlantic seaboard this craggy bulk of quartzite has long been a beacon for those attracted to the North West corner of Ireland. Towering over the turf cushioned Poison Valley and the quaintly majestic Seipeal an Chroi Naofa Dun Luiche, Mount Errigal is truly a monarch of the glen.
