Derry, from the Waterside, was completed in the spring of 2003. Stephen would probably assert that this was the most difficult and yet enjoyable scenes he has ever depicted. From Brandywell on the far left Derrys landscape stretches softly through the terraced streets and famed landmarks such as the Tillie & Henderson building, Guild Hall and the Craigavon & Foyle Bridges. All cradled by the beautifully stoic Foyle River and watched over by gods own country, Donegal, in the background.
