Product Description
Carrickfergus Castle, County Antrim was sketched in March 2004. From its east harbour one can sense the importance Carrickfergus held in bygone times as the gatekeeper to Belfast Lough and in effect Ulster from the Irish Sea. Nowadays, a bustling town and marina complex cradle Carrickfergus Castle. In the background we can see the edge of Black mountain which runs down left to Belfast which stands quite faintly on the horizon (far left).
