Product Description
Belfast, from Cave Hill, was drawn in the autumn of 2004. This windswept mass of rock punctuates Black Mountain and towers over Belfast. Along with the cranes of Harland and Wolf, Cave Hill is synonymous with the Belfast landscape. In the foreground lie the grounds of Belfast Park, the home of Belfast zoo. To the left and east is Belfast Lough. As the gateway to Belfast this stretch of water is cloaked by the most southerly glens of Antrim and the north Strangford peninsula. Central are a few recognisable manmade landmarks from the shipyard, birthplace of the Titanic, the new Waterfront Hall, the momentous City Hospital and Saint Peters Cathedral. To the right and southwest lay the plains of Ulster and in the distance the Mourne Mountains. Worth every well-worn step this is a jewel in the crown of Northern Irish views.
Dimensions 42cmx30cm (print)
