'The Rose of Tralee'

'The Rose of Tralee' or 'Charlotte' is a simple design with lace and pin tucks on sleeves, bottom of skirt and lace on front bodice. Claire Warn has been perfecting her collection of Christening Gowns for years in South County Down. Claire uses only linens that have been wove in Ireland and traditional celtic inspired designs that have evolved over centuries. All of Claires gowns have a drawstring neck and are open at the back so that they can fit different size babies within a family. Claire advises that to truely reap the quality of Irish Linen you should wash the gowns seperately and then dry them outside, in the sun. This helps purify the Linen thus allowing it to age whiter and whiter with every wash and every baby! Gowns come in sizes 0-3mths, 3-6mths, 6-12mths 12-18mths. Please let us know the size you would like when ordering. The size 3-6 months is a pretty safe bet if you are not sure when the baby naming ceremony is happening
